Sabbatical

J and I have been talking about taking a year sabbatical in 3-4 years.  Perhaps move to 臺灣 and use it as a home base to explore the rest of Asia.  I've always said that 未來 is in Asia, and we might as well explore the region and perhaps even settle in Asia if we end up liking it.  I just feel that life is too short to be spending all your time in one place or one country.  Traveling is one thing, but living in a different country is a completely different experience, where you'll really get to absorb the culture and even become part of it.
