Terrible Three's

Truffalo is 3 1/2 years old, and lately he's been picking fights with Mocha, who is well into her golden years (9 1/2 years old).  He would growl at her when she approaches the water bowl, and we thought he was just misbehaving, until 璨璨 said that he's testing and challenging the hierarchy.  I thought that was funny, given what a big wuss Truffalo is (he is actually afraid of his own shadow, no joke).  J and I have always joked that Mocha is 'half lab and half german shepard', and Truffalo is 'half cat and half chicken'.  Well, I certainly hope he grows out of this phase, because I'm getting a little tired of the growling and fighting.
