Koi, begging to be fed...
On our way to Palermo, we encountered this little hot dog stand. Since we've both been vaccinated against Hep A last year, we felt it was safe enough to try one for AR$5.
Jacaranda (blue trees) in the park; this path reminds me of Central Park.
A paseaperros (dog walker) with ten dogs, depositors of piles of poop all over BA streets. Apparently no one picks up after their dogs. So far we've been pretty lucky not having stepped in any piles. This certainly makes walking quite precarious.
Palermo is kind of like SOHO in NYC, where all the chic boutiques and restaurants are located. I was looking to snag a shirt for cheap, but wasn't able to find anything of satisfactory quality or classy design. We did, however, managed to snack our way around the area. Between the two of us, we had 5 empanadas (有點像咖哩角 but without the curry), 2 helados, 1 soda, and 1 frozen cappuccino. All of that for AR$40 ($11 US). This city is on sale!
Dinner was at Rodi Bar, which is located just around the corner from our hotel. When we went at 8PM, it was still quite empty, but by the time we finished at 9:30PM, the place was packed. Locals eat very late at night. They don't usually start dinner until 8:30-9PM. I'm usually getting ready for bed by then.
