The best part is dipping everything in 沙茶醬 mixed with a raw egg. Taiwanese style! J's not the biggest fan of 火鍋, but he obliged because he's a 'grade A' husband : ) We realized there was too much food for just the 2 of us, so we started our hot pot during lunch time and plan to finish everything by the time we're done with dinner.
Since we didn't have a table top stove we ended up sitting by the kitchen stove, which made for a very unique dining experience.
hahahaha. you guys are ghetto! how come we never hotpotted when you were living in nyc then? I love hot pot too! We do it a few times a year, maybe because the King didn't like it, so mom never did it when he was around. SHEESH!
ReplyDeleteDon't call him 'the King' it'll go to his head, which is already too inflated as is.
