Greenback Luck

J and I went running this morning.  I was logging my 12 miles, and he was tagging along keeping me company for the first 3 before turning back to finish his usual 6 mile run.  It was pretty windy today, and somewhere between mile 2 and 3 we both saw something blowing towards us.  Since I don't wear my glasses during my runs, all I saw was some green paper gusting past us.  J, on the other hand, saw what it was and said, "It's a dollar!"  He immediately turned around and gave chase to the greenback.  He ran after that dollar like his life depended on it, and I jokingly yelled after him, "Run like you've never run before!"  他的猶太基因發威了。(J seems to have a knack for finding money, and large sums at that.  Last time when we were in Target, he found a $20 bill on the floor.  My biggest take home ever was a measly quarter).

  2. That kind of luck must run in your family. Our family has to work hard for found money. My dad actually dug out a penny from asphalt in the middle of traffic : D
